Terms of Service
ricktew.com and The Digital Dojo, run by Rick Tew Co., Ltd. · Last updated 29 October 2026
Plain language on purpose. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Rick Tew Co., Ltd. (section 9). If anything here is unclear, ask through the mailbox before you subscribe.
1. What you are buying
A Digital Dojo subscription is a monthly service engagement with Rick Tew Co., Ltd. You are hiring our service to audit your business, build your Digital Dojo (an AI command center with trained AI assistants for your repeated work), keep it running, and help you run it: your team runs the daily work and we oversee it, in writing. Running the daily work for you, or an engagement bigger than one Dojo, is a custom price agreed in writing first.
What it is not: a software license, and not product development. The subscription does not include building products you sell (apps, websites, games, or features of your own product). Product and custom build work, including any build inside your own accounts and stack (section 4), is a separate engagement: $222 per 2-hour block, or $2,222 for a 20-hour package, with scope agreed in writing before any such work starts, and us reachable by chat, not by phone, for the month of the build. R2 Managed Hosting (section 2) is priced on its own and is never billed by the block.
2. The offers
- Your Dojo ($2,222 per month): we audit, build, and train your Dojo on our own stack and keep it running; your team runs the daily work; we oversee it in writing (chat and email, not by phone), so that everything agreed is on the record. We are not your employees and do not run the daily work for you under this offer.
- R2 Managed Hosting ($222 once, then $99 per month or $999 per year): we build your website or small app from parts that already run in our own businesses, scoped on one page before we start, then host it on our own stack and keep it running: SSL, firewall, backups, updates. The $222 is a separate starter invoice and includes the first month of hosting; the monthly or yearly bill starts the month after. Running your daily work is not part of it.
- What the monthly fee covers, and what it does not. The fee covers our normal level of care: fixes, meaning putting back what we built when it stops working the way it did; and small changes to what is already there, such as text, prices, photos, opening hours or a menu item. Anything above that norm is an added fee, quoted in writing first: a new page, form or feature, a redesign, a large batch of changes at once, work caused by changes you or someone else made, or requests well beyond a small business’s normal month. We decide what falls inside the norm, and we tell you before any added fee applies.
Seats on Your Dojo are limited so every client gets real attention. Whether a seat is open is answered in the mailbox before any invoice is sent.
3. Billing and cancellation
- Every payment on ricktew.com goes to Rick Tew Co., Ltd., through our payment processor. Monthly plans are billed in advance. A card payment at checkout is charged in Thai baht; if your card is in another currency, the checkout shows the amount in your currency before you pay.
- Paying in Thai baht: you can pay by PromptPay, or by card for an app from the Shop or the HI Ninja program, to Rick Tew Co., Ltd. (R2 Hosting Thailand on the AI Ninja side), at the baht price shown on the page you buy from or on your bill. A card payment in baht for an app or the program is one payment and does not renew. In baht, hosting is paid by the month or for the year, by PromptPay or card, as your bill shows. By PromptPay you type the amount in your bank app each time, so nothing is charged automatically; a PromptPay payment counts once it is matched at the bank.
- You can cancel anytime, in writing: reply to any invoice, or write through the mailbox. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, or, on a yearly R2 Managed Hosting plan, at the end of the paid year; no further charges after that. No long-term contract, no cancellation fee.
- The first month is a trial for both sides. We may also decline to continue working with a client, at the end of any paid month or year, by telling you in writing; nothing is charged after that, and what is yours under section 4 leaves with you.
- All sales are final. No refunds. This covers every plan and all build work: Your Dojo, R2 Managed Hosting, custom builds and apps from the Shop. A build fee is not refunded, and cancelling stops a monthly or yearly plan at the end of the period already paid, with no partial refund.
- Work in progress at cancellation stops in its current state; what is yours under section 4 leaves with you.
- Apps from the Shop (one of our apps, set up for you and hosted on our stack like R2 Managed Hosting) are paid once at checkout, at the price shown on the app’s page, which includes the first month. The hosting after that is billed by the month or for the year, as your bill shows, and stops when you cancel.
- Gooffy Ninja ShhT!! and the other HI Ninja stays (the live-in Martial Arts Ninja Course on Koh Samui) are paid at the price shown on their page: in full at booking, at the pay-now price, or as a non-refundable deposit that holds your spot, with the rest due 2 weeks before you arrive. All sales are final; your dates can move, within a year of buying.
4. Where it lives, and what is yours
Every offer on this site is built, hosted and managed on our own stack, in our accounts: the hosting, the app stack, the database, the mail plumbing, and the settings that hold it together. That is deliberate. It is how the same work runs in our own businesses, it is what keeps the price flat, and it means there is nothing for you to log into, renew, patch or fix. The build, the app, the code and the configuration are ours and remain ours, including a build made free or at a discount under a promotion; you are buying the service of having them built, run and kept, not the machinery.
What is yours, always: your data: your customers, your records, your content, and what you wrote down for the Dojo. It remains yours during the engagement and leaves with you if we part ways; we do not keep your data after you leave, it is handed over and then removed from our stack. The same holds if our service ever ends: the build is the window onto your business, and the window is what ends; what is yours stays yours. The hosting and the build end with the subscription, at the end of the paid month or year, and nothing is charged after.
Your domain. A domain you already own, or register in your own name, stays yours; we manage it with the access you grant. A domain we register for the build is registered in our name and stays ours.
The AI is included. We run the models on our own accounts as part of the service; you never open an AI account, hold a key or watch a meter. If your Dojo’s use grows far beyond a small business’s normal day, we say so and price it in writing first.
Included limits. Mail sent from your domain is included up to 5,000 messages a month; more is priced in writing first. Large media (video, big files) is stored as it is needed and priced only when it becomes a real cost, in writing first.
Not included: ad spend, and any software subscription your business already pays for on its own. Where an account has to be in your name (an ad account, or a domain you own), it is, and we manage it with the access you grant.
Building inside your own accounts and stack instead, so that you own the machinery outright, is a custom engagement under section 1, quoted in writing first. It costs more because every login, registrar setting, stack setup and card approval on your side adds hours to the build, and we price them.
5. Judgment stays human, and yours
The Dojo’s assistants draft and propose. Anything that sends, pays, posts, or commits your business waits for a human press, and the judgment calls are never ours to make on your behalf. You remain responsible for the decisions of your business and for reviewing what you approve.
6. Honest expectations
No revenue, savings, or outcome is guaranteed. Estimates shown anywhere (including the quiz on the offer page) are computed from numbers you provide and are labeled as estimates. AI systems make mistakes; the Dojo's approval gates exist for exactly that reason.
7. Confidentiality
What we see of your business while building and running your Dojo stays confidential. Methods and patterns learned across engagements (never your data, people, or specifics) remain ours to reuse; that is what keeps the shelf of proven builds sharp for every client.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Rick Tew Co., Ltd.'s total liability under this agreement is capped at the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Who you are dealing with, and the law
ricktew.com is run by Rick Tew Co., Ltd., a Thai company on Koh Samui. Everything sold on it is sold and charged by Rick Tew Co., Ltd., and your agreement is with Rick Tew Co., Ltd. This agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand.
10. Changes
These terms can change with notice; the date above always reflects the current version. Changes never apply retroactively to a month you have already paid for.
